This is the last tutorial with oi pastel for now. February will be about watercolor!
However you can take your own colors, pay attention on with different tones - light, medium and dark!
With white mark fir trees, trail and cast shadows in perspective, then horizon line and a space for grass.
With white color snow.
With ice blue color the bottom of the sky.
With sky blue color the top of the sky.
With sapphire blue create short strokes on the fir trees along the shape and vertical strokes for background trees (light pressure). Keep black paper between strokes.
With dark green create short strokes on the fir trees and vertical strokes for background trees (light pressure). Keep black paper between strokes.
With grass green add highlights on the fir trees, mostly from the left side.
With ochre draw grass, create vertical strokes with slightly different directions.
With russet draw the same strokes.
With white do snow between grass, fix the top of the grass and put snow on the fir trees.
With sky blue color cast shadows, shadows between grass and on the fir trees.
With ice blue soften shadows on the right.
With cream add warmness to the snow - on the fir trees and on the ground.
With granite rose add more warmness on the snow but not everywhere.
Done! Happy drawing!
Enjoy and see you in February to play with watercolor!
